Questions people ask
Will filing raise my rates?
Here's what we can say for sure in this state: a hail claim is handled as not-at-fault, comprehensive — it's not individually surcharged. That's a provision we'll show you on paper at the assessment. What nobody can promise is future pricing across the whole area. After a major storm, territory pricing can change for homeowners whether they filed or not. And that part's completely separate from your individual claim.
What's the catch?
Fair question — and don't take a verbal answer from us. At the assessment, we show you the written terms: the deductible credit, and exactly what happens with the repair estimate and the insurance payment — all of it on paper, before you decide whether to move forward. That's the difference between a mechanism and a promise.
I'm waiting on my adjuster.
Totally fine — you should talk to them. A quick driveway look and what shows up under a proper light can come out very different, so take our assessment photos and counts into that conversation. If their scope catches everything, you lost nothing. If it comes in lighter than what we documented, you'll see it immediately.
Should my spouse be there?
If you make decisions together, bring anyone you want. We'd rather you both see what the light shows — it's easier than one of you describing thirty dents at dinner.
